Engineer #1: Senior Unity Developer

We are hiring our first full-time engineer. We want to hear from you if you are a senior Unity developer who wants to move STEM education into VR. We love game developers who want to use technology to change how we teach in universities, high schools and beyond. At Sama, we make the intangible, tangible. The ability to take a project from concept through design and to final deployment is a must.

This is a key position in a great startup environment. When you join Sama, you will participate at all phases of the product development cycle including content design and development from early proofs of concept through final production.   • 3+ years of experience developing Unity based 3D experiences for all major room scale VR headsets and a minimum of 8 years overall development experience

  • Fluent in object oriented programming (i.e python, C#)

  • Familiarity with client-server game architecture

  • Ability to create rapid prototypes of concepts, features and models

  • Experience in each phase of development : design, build, document and write efficient, scalable and reliable code from concept state to production.

  • An eye for quality and design of clean user interfaces

  • BS in Computer Science or related field
